Make the Most of Your NDIS Support
Kharisma Care offer two different levels of Support Coordination that can be included in your plan:
- Support Connection: This support is to build your ability to connect with informal, community and funded supports enabling you to get the most out of your plan and pursue your goals.
- Support Coordination: Coordination of supports: This support will assist you to build the skills you need to understand, implement and use your plan. A Support Coordinator will work with you to ensure a mix of supports are used to increase your capacity to maintain relationships, manage service delivery tasks, live more independently and be included in your community.
Depending on your individual goals, plan objectives and aspirations you may receive funding for these supports in your plan.
How Support Coordination Gets Included in a Plan.
Your funding is based on what is ‘reasonable and necessary’ to pursue your goals, in addition to the support provided by family, friends, and other community and government services.
Where reasonable and necessary, support coordination will be included in the Capacity Building budget. This is a fixed amount for a support coordinator to help you use your plan.
If your plan describes (or ‘states’) the level of support coordination funded, you can only purchase this level of support coordination.
If your plan does not describe the level of support coordination funded, you can choose to purchase the level of support coordination that suits your needs.
Your planner can help you find and connect with a support coordinator.

A plan manager will pay providers for supports delivered. A plan manager will help you monitor your funds, and provide financial reporting. A support coordinator will support you to understand and implement supports included in your plan.
How much is plan management costs under Kharisma Care?
The NDIS sets the same fees to keep things fair, which prevents providers from overcharging or undercutting the market, so no matter who you choose to be your plan manager the cost will be the same! There is a one-time setup fee of $232.35 and then a monthly charge of $104.45.
